Despite a well-publicized, well-funded effort to support candidates opposed to a pro-energy agenda, candidates that support a pragmatic, comprehensive energy policy were big winners on election day. It is clear that voters are very concerned about pocket book issues, including higher electricity prices. We hope that the Administration and EPA are paying attention to the message that voters sent. They want policies that will create jobs and build our economy, not threaten our electricity reliability and raise bills. We again urge EPA to change course on their proposed greenhouse gas regulations and pursue a more reasonable approach.
